Option 1: A workshop that is interactive for the participant to explore where they are on the continuum of learning about systemic racism and prejudice and how it affects our interpersonal relationships as well as in the workplace. Participants will learn the fundamental difference between interpersonal and institutional issues. The workshop will include an opportunity for guided personal reflection and be lead in a discussion about complicated terminologies such as implicit bias, intersectionality, white privilege, and entitlement. We will touch upon moments in history and how they have affected race and prejudice in our society and how we interact with one another. Lastly, we will talk about the best practices for expanding our behaviors outside of what we are used to.
Audience: 7-25 people. Over 25 participants would need to be determined before the time of the workshop and will require a higher fee—no recording of the presentation.
Time: 90-120 minutes
Option 2: A working mentor session for leadership to delve into the specific ways your business can provide effective programming and/or managing with intentionality and authenticity. Facilitated dialogue and activities to collectively address the needs specific to your company and have the most impact.
Option 3: If you continue to go deeper into exploring the systemic issues within the culture of your workplace, in partnership with your team, we can create a plan to set strategic goals to improve inclusion and best practices for social and racial awareness in your practice.
